Her Welsh father Simon is a commercial photographer by profession. He has experience in sports, landscape, and wildlife photography. Her mother is a housewife.

She has no siblings. While many speculate her sister is a fellow skateboarder Ruby Trew, there is no relation.

Personal Life

Trew initially used to surf with her parents. She switched to skateboarding at age 7 as it was too cold to surf during winter. She began training with Trevor Ward at a local skatepark after liking the sport.

Her day is mostly filled with training at the skate park.

It’s just so much fun. I do three hours of education in the morning, then I go skate for the rest of the day with all my friends.

Career

Arisa Trew began appearing in skateboarding events in the late 2010s. However, she became popular over the last couple of years.

In February 2023, she competed in the 2022 Park World Championships but was placed in 20th position. Followed by a 4th position at the 2023 X Games in Japan. She won gold in park and vert events at the 2023 X Games California that year.

Earlier in 2024, she competed in the World Skateboarding Tour and was placed 4th. She won the 2024 OQS in Shanghai and Budapest respectively. Also, she won multiple gold medals at the 2024 X Games Ventura.

Arisa qualified for the Olympics after placing first during the trials. She won a gold medal in skateboarding’s park event at the 2024 Paris with a score of 93.18.
