Personal Life
Mills studied drama at school and college. She graduated with a BA Honours in Contemporary Media Practice from the University of Westminster in 2010.
Though she always wanted to become an actress, she ignored drama for her bachelor’s and pursued this degree as she was interested in knowing the workings behind the camera. However, to improve her acting skills, she attended part-time drama classes on weekends.
Growing up, she used to watch American sitcoms such as Moesha and Sister Sister as there weren’t many movies or shows dedicated to aspiring black people.
Career
Nadine Mills debuted in 2011 with the short film Drink, Drugs and KFC. Her first full-length movie appearance came with Sable Fable in 2013.
She mostly appeared in short films in the initial phase of her career. Also, she wasn’t actively acting as it can be found that she only made one appearance every one or two years.
She made her TV debut with Sliced in 2019. She played as a Hijab Girl in two episodes across two different seasons. In 2022, she acted as Adrienne in the movie The Pay Day.
She secured the lead role of Sabrina Clarke in the Netflix TV series Supacell in 2024. For this role, she underwent stunt training. The series features talented Black actors such as Tosin Cole, Eric Kofi Abrefa, Josh Tedeku, and others.
Looking at her future projects, she is set to play Julia in a short film named Osoro.
