Iain Armitage earned his debut acting opportunity through his YouTube videos. He secured the role of Ziggy Chapman in the HBO series Big Little Lies in 2017.
However, his actual debut appearance came with Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. He played a cameo role of Theo Lachere. That year, he acted in three movies namely The Glass Castle, Our Souls at Night, and I’m Not Here respectively.
Additionally, he played the lead role of Sheldon Cooper in CBS Original series Young Sheldon in September. He appeared alongside top artists such as Zoe Perry, Lance Barber, Montana Jordan, Raegan Revord, etc.
