Career

Gordon Cormier became quite clear about his passion for performing arts at a young age. As his parents were supportive, they provided him with respective resources to excel in this profession.

He started taking acting, dancing, and singing classes at the mere age of six. Eventually, he secured his first commercial gig when he was just nine years old.

While attending acting school, he made his acting debut with the TV series Get Shorty in 2019. Being a new entry, he played a short role as Guatemalan Urchin in one episode.

Following, he attracted a few more short roles in A Christmas Miracle, Christmas Under The Stars, and Lost in Space.

His first lead role came with the Paramount+ show The Stand in 2020. He acted in the role of Joe in all episodes. His next few appearances were in Turner & Hooch (2021), Gabby Duran & The Unsittables (2021), and Team Zenko Go (2022) respectively.

Concerning his talent in performing arts, many agencies approached him. Currently, a management agency named Premiere Talent Management represents him.

Being a trained taekwondo personality, he had an upper hand during Avatar: The Last Airbender. Eventually, he was awarded the role of Aang and appeared in eight episodes. He acted alongside notable artists such as Kiawentiio, Ian Ousley, Dallas Liu, etc.

Apart from regular acting performances, he gave voice to the character Mitchell Peterson in the animated movie Ready Jet Go! Space Camp in 2023.
