Her husband is Phil Handy. He is a British actor with notable credits in Napoleon (2023), The Village (2013-2014), A Knight’s Tale (2001), Hunted (2012), etc. Before acting, he was part of a pop music band Ice Cold in Alice.
Upon her marriage with Phil, she moved to London with him. The couple was blessed with two kids Leo Handy (born October 2006) and Nephele Handy (born August 2008).
Career
Agni Scott made her debut in the TV movie The Hamburg Cell as Aysel in 2004. She also appeared as Reem Mutar in the TV series The Gird that year. She acted in a couple of movies next year namely Lost in Love and The English Harem.
Over the next decade, she actively appeared in tons of movies and TV series such as MI-5, House of Saddam, Identity, The Shadow Line, The Young Messiah, The Red Tent, and many more.
On the side, she made stage appearances as well. She acted in plays such as Oresteia, La Fenix, Electra, The Odyssey, and others, and even worked under productions of Bush Theatre, Boston Greek Institute, Raw Space, etc.
Her first voice credit was for the video game Battlefield 1 where she voiced Zara Ghufran. In 2017 and 2018, she voiced in Assassin’s Creed: Origins and Odyssey respectively.
In 2019, she played the prominent role of Polly Canto in the Prime Video TV series Absentia. Three years later, she appeared as Mrs Croft in the Netflix movie Persuasion.
In 2024, she made two powerful appearances in Alexander: The Making of a God and Find Me Falling. Both of them feature in her lead roles of Stateira and Sia respectively.
