Derek Luh is an American TV actor and rapper. He started out as a music personality, but quickly gained popularity for his acting performances, especially as Jordan Li in Gen V.
He was born on 24 June 1992 in Valencia, Santa Clarita, California, USA. The 33-year-old actor pursued music for around seven years before pivoting to acting.

Career
Derek Luh made his musical debut in 2013 with the album L.A. Confidential. It was followed by three more album releases in 2015 namely The Fortunate Few, Hollywood Blvd, and The Second Coming.
In 2016, he dropped a couple of singles titled Bad Boy and Now You Know. In 2017, he launched a 4-song EP named Disposable Hero. Three years later, he released the album Socks & Slides in December 2020. It was his last publicly available music work.
Throughout his rap career, he collaborated with notable artists, including French Montana. Additionally, he toured with the famous singer-rapper Machine Gun Kelly.
He made the decision to pivot to acting and attended acting classes. In 2019, he made his debut performance by playing a cameo in the third season of the Hulu series Runaways.
In 2021, he acted as Jack Allen in two episodes of the TV series All Rise. The next year, he played a semi-lead role of Ryan He in the first season of Shining Vale. However, his breakthrough role has been Jordan Li in the Amazon Prime series Gen V. He played in all the episodes alongside actors such as London Thor, Lizze Broadway, etc.
