Emily graduated high school from Maury High School in Norfolk. She attended Marymount Manhattan College on and off due to acting. However, she attained a BA in Theater in 2012.
Though unmarried, she has been in a long-term relationship with the actor-musician Daveed Diggs. The couple were blessed with a baby in 2024.
Career
Emmy Raver-Lampman began making stage appearances in 2010. Her debut theatre performance was Children of Eden. Followed by appearances in Hair, Jekyll & Hyde, A Night with Janis Joplin, and Wicked.
She appeared in Hamilton under the Original Broadway Production in 2015. A year later, she made her TV debut with a cameo role in Odd Mom Out.
After Hamilton, she earned two more stage credits SpongeBob SquarePants and Gun & Powder in 2016 and 2020 respectively. In 2018, she appeared in Blindspotting and A Million Little Things.
In 2019, she acted in the short film Stucco and voiced in the TV series American Dad. That year, she appeared in the lead role of Allison Hargreaves in the TV series The Umbrella Academy. Across four seasons, she acted in 36 episodes.
In 2021, she voiced the characters Molly Tillerman and Fista Puffs in the animated series Central Park. A year later, she appeared in three feature films Blacklight, Dog, and Gatlopp.
