Personal Life
As a four-year-old, Doi enrolled in a local dance academy to learn dancing. Upon his introduction to acting, his interested drift towards it and he began giving lesser preference to dancing.
Though he grew up in Honolulu, he relocated to Los Angeles with his mother a few years back to pursue acting as a career.
Career
Reyn Doi‘s first acting gig was a commercial for Sonas in 2017. The advert featured him alongside Marie Poppins, Phi VoBa, Nikki Womac, etc. A year later, he made TV debut with a Showtime series Kidding.
Apart from Sonas, he appeared in commercials for other companies such as Jack in the Box, eBay, and Feisty Pets. Doi shared commercials featuring him on his 143 subscriber YouTube channel.
Following his TV debut in 2018, he acted in a short film named Speak Easy, B in 2019. In 2020, he made two cameo appearances namely S.W.A.T. and Mythic Quest in the roles of Takeshi and Nerdy Boy respectively.
In 2021, he showcased his acting skills through lead roles in Drama Club and Side Hustle. That year, he also acted in the movie Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar as Yoyo. He also voiced the character Box Kid in The Boss Baby 2: Family Businesses.
In 2023, he played the lead role of Ozzie in the Netflix series That ’90s Show in 2023. He acted in 26 episodes across three seasons. The series featured actors such as Kurtwood Smith, Callie Haverda, and Ashley Aufderheide.
He also acted in The Out-Laws as Babayan. In 2024, he voiced Adoring Fan in Kung Fu Panda 4.
