Guo attended Pichelmayergasse High School. She graduated from Film Acting School in Cologne in July 2019.
Per her Facebook account, she moved to New York in 2017 before returning to Berlin in 2019. She received Meisner Technique training from Nathalie Thomas (July 2017 – November 2017) and Jerry Coyle (April 2019).
In 2022, she moved to Los Angeles but mentioned Berlin, Germany as her current city. During the second US visit, she received acting training at Ivana Chubbuck Studios in Los Angeles.
She spent her teenage years working as a waitress in restaurants in Berlin to support herself financially. Additionally, she disclosed her relationship status as single on Facebook.
Career
Andrea Guo debuted with the TV series We Are the Wave (original: Wir sind die Welle) in 2019. She played Birthe in five episodes. The same year, she appeared in the short film Riot.
Before making her debut, she made a few theatre appearances including Snow White under the production of HSH Drama School in China. In 2020, she appeared as Loan in Hausen.
In 2021, she made three cameo appearances in Der Lehrer, Die Toten von Salzburg, and Kathe und ich. She secured her prominent English role in 2023 with the TV series The Swarm where she acted in the role of Jess.
She continued acting in German movies and series including German Genius in 2023. In 2024, she played the lead character of Lin Wang in the Prime Video TV series Maxton Hall – Die Welt zwischen uns.
